Speaker Biographies:

Jeff Greenberg conducts macroeconomic analysis to identify financial-market trends as a Senior Capital Markets Economist at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. His research spans the globe, and includes both advanced economies and emerging markets, as well as equities, fixed income, and currencies. His research supports the firm’s long-term views and, by extension, influences how client portfolios are positioned. His areas of focus include monetary policy, housing, inflation, labor markets, and international trade.

Mr. Greenberg first joined J.P. Morgan in 2012 and rejoined the firm in 2017, following two years as a Macro Strategist at UBS, responsible for thematic macro research on G10 economies. He began his Wall Street career as a U.S. Economist for Nomura Securities, providing real-time economic analysis for the firm’s fixed income, currencies, and equities trading desks. He previously conducted research at the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and Boston, the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, and National Public Radio

Mr. Greenberg earned a master’s degree in International Economics from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a B.A. cum laude from Tufts University.

Michael Flores is a Client Advisor in the Tampa office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In his role, Michael provides holistic advice and guidance, to a small number of affluent individuals and their family businesses to build, preserve, and manage their wealth for themselves and future generations. Partnering  together, Michael is able to design and deliver strategies that are tailored to address each client’s unique needs –from banking to tax-aware borrowing opportunities, long-term investment planning and philanthropic giving.

Michael’s career started after college in 2000 where he worked in J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank in the Foreign Exchange and Commodity sales and trading floor. Between 2004-2011 Michael was a Foreign Exchange trader at Standard Bank where he was a market maker of G10 currencies. Michael then went on to manage global macro proprietary positions at two different Hedge Funds. Michael is proud to have joined J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in 2016.

Active in the local community, Michael volunteers with Big Brother Big Sister as a youth mentor. In addition, he splits time with Feeding Tampa Bay and Shriners International Children’s Hospitals.

Michael is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and has his FINRA Securities Licenses: Series 7, 63. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
